It was
reminiscent of the scenario two years ago; Elizabeth waiting patiently as I worked the rat's nest out of her younger sister's hair. This year, it took me 1 1/2 hours to do!
Both girls enjoy growing their hair long to donate to
Locks of Love. Today was Elizabeth's third time and Hannah's second.
It's a
super cause, and an "acceptable excuse" to allow them to cut their lovely locks even though Hubby and I both love their hair longer.
Elizabeth loves her hair long, too, but also likes to donate her hair to help others.
Since it grows back rather quickly for them (unlike with me!), it's something fun for them to do! :-)
It was really neat--the same two ladies at Fantastic Sam's (located on Mall Drive in Eau Claire) that cut their hair two years ago did it for them, again, and remembered us!!! :-)
