Frost and Snow Flurries!!!

Unbelievable, but on the 8th day of May, we were anticipating 1-3" of snow!!! Fortunately we only got flurries!!!

Unfortunately, frost hit our hostas..., but they should grow new leaves. I'm not sure which is worse, having the frost get to them, or the deer! --LKR

Um, I hate to say this, Michelle, but I noticed while it was flurrying, the winds were blowing from the *north*!!! :-} Not sure what it's doing now..., but man is it windy, again!

Keep those plants indoors or covered, still. This is what NOAA Weather Radio says:
HIGH PRESSURE SETTLING OVER THE AREA WILL RESULT IN CLEAR SKIES
AND CALM WINDS TONIGHT. THIS WILL LEAD TO TEMPERATURES FALLING... See More
BELOW FREEZING FOR ALL BUT THE URBAN AREAS OF THE TWIN CITIES
TONIGHT.

We had some hail and snow! Crazy. Sound like an old lady but the last time I remember this happening was in May 1980 in London Ontario.

LOL Yikes!!! It *is* crazy, Tunde!!! When I lived in NJ, I remember snow flurries in April which was unusual, but not totally unheard of. It was Easter Sunday, and I think I was in my teens. I'm not as familiar with the midwest's weather, though two years ago on April 26th we had 6" of s___.

BTW, on Saturday, at 7AM, it was 32F, and we of course had more frost. It stayed on the roof tops for a long time..., but warmed up enough during the day. It's so strange to see everything green, and leaves and flowers on the tress...and then *frost*!!! Did *not* venture out to take pics, but it would have been cool!!!
